His name was first mentioned the 29 of August 2014. Ultrabass was, together with Nvd, the maintainer of Everybody Edits 2. Since they were not the owner of Everybody Edits, they took it down when Mr. Shoe asked for it. He chose to resign from the Guardian team on October 31, 2014. Ultrabass is no longer a guardian due to inactivity and miscommunication between the staff.

Magic is a randomly-occurring event that was added to the game on January 12, 2011. When a player collects a gold coin or a blue coin, there is a small chance of it being a magic coin. If a magic coin is collected, a message will appear in the Chat and the player will get a pop-up message congratulating the player with his magic.

Magic Coins
Basic Information
A magic coin looks like a normal coin.

Magic Coins appear randomly.

A message displays informing you that you have found a Magic Coin.

Magic coins are unlimited to get (no maximum amount).

There are two types and 5 variations.

Blue coins are for magic blocks and gold coins are for magic smilies or to obtain energy.

Only a few per level at most.

NOTE: Due to a glitch, magic coins used to have a 1 in a trillion chance to be found(1,000,000,000,000). However, updates made chances much higher.

Effects
Collecting a magic coin can have one of several effects, most of which are based around Energy and Smilies:

The player can receive +1 maximum energy with no refill.

The player can receive +2 maximum energy and a complete refill.(This is called a minor magical coin)

The player can receive +10 maximum energy and a complete refill. (This is called an extra magical coin)

The player can receive +15 maximum energy and a complete refill. (This is called a rare magical coin)

The player can receive the Grinch smiley.

The player can receive the Wizard smiley.

The player can receive the Fire Wizard smiley after receiving the Wizard.

The player can receive the Dark Wizard smiley after receiving the Wizard and Fire Wizard.

The player can receive the Purple Ghost smiley after receiving the Wizard, Fire Wizard and Dark Wizard.

The player can receive a magic block.

Note: The rate of which what magic coins appear when is based on the time before +2 coins were added. However, it should be mentioned that if one gets more than 1 magic coin within a day itself, the second or so magic coin will only give a complete refill without a +10 maximum energy. The theoretical probability of obtaining a magic coin is currently unknown to the public (may depend on online activity). There have been people saying that a +5 magic coin exists.

Obtaining Magic
Magic can be obtained by normal play, however there are factors that can reduce the likeliness of finding magic.

Magic odds are best when playing regular worlds normally.

Coin Farm Levels and Coin Regen Levels are broken and do not provide any magic.

Worlds with too many coins have reduced chances of magic.

Trivia
2010-2011
First algorythm of magic implemented.

Wizard, Fire Wizard and Grinch are the only magic smilies.

Only gold coins gives magic.
2012-2014
Magic classes are added, a leveling up system that gives you energy until level 12, where you can get 400 energy. You level up by getting magic coins.

Added Dark Wizard as a magic smiley.
2015+
Magic classes are removed from the game. Players were rewarded with energy due the loss.

Blue coins can give a magic block.

Added Purple Ghost as a magic smiley.

Added a new magic algorythm added where magic coins are extremely rare.

[6/23/15] Made magic coins much more common.

Bosses are a type of interactive level that can be considered live puzzles. They feature competitive play between players.

Features
Normal Boss
The owner or another editor creates a large rectangle or square in the map to serve as the playing field, and creates a Gate (typically at the top) where the players can wait for the next round to begin. Bosses are usually accompanied by lobbies, where the player can practice various puzzles.

Color Boss
In a Color Boss, the playing field is split into two, with each side being constructed of Doors of a different color. Each side features identical minigames and challenges, but are typically mirror images of each other. At the end of the challenges is a key for the other side's doors. Like Normal Bosses, they are accompanied by lobbies where players can wait for the next round.
Copy Smiley
In a Copy Smiley boss, the playing field is normally arranged so each player has their own area to sit it. When all of the areas are filled, the owner or the person who is 'bossing' will change a smiley that everyone has to copy. Normally there would be a certain amount of blocks under each area representing how many 'lives' each player has. The last person standing gets the prize.

Gameplay
Normal Boss
In a Boss Level, the goal is to be the last man standing. Prizes range from the Crown, to the level code or edit access, but the Crown is the most common. Typically you have to win a boss a certain number of times before the grand prize is given. This is controlled by a system of coins, coin doors, and gravity arrows. Boss levels involve multiple people trying to complete any of the level types listed here (as well as some Common puzzles) as fast as possible or before anybody else. Loss of a boss battle will often result in your falling to the bottom of the playing field, which may contain gravity arrows to push you back into the lobby. Unique to boss battles are active platforming, where if you aren't fast enough bricks below you start to disappear. Before the bricks disappear, the boss usually gives a warning by turning them red or another color.

Color Boss
In a Color Boss, the pool of players is divided between each half of the playing field. The players will then compete to try and reach the key at the end first, which will drop the floor out from underneath the opposing team's side. Wins are sometimes tallied with Bots or by hand.

Copy Smiley
Many players compete to change to the smiley the owner/'bosser' has to win the prize.
Open Worlds are a type of world where everyone can edit freely. These were originally the only world type available. ==Differences from other world types==

Players can not edit the top 5 blocks in Open Worlds.

Players can not place blocks through clicking and dragging.

Players can not enter God Mode.

Commands are not available, as Open Worlds have no set Owner.

Decorations
Decorations are blocks that do not effect the player. For example if you walk over a decoration, it will not stop you in your path.
Decorations are typically used to enhance the player's perspective of a world when playing. They normally would not effect the mini-map. Decorations can not be placed on the same layer as blocks, but can be placed on backgrounds.

Stairs Levels are levels where centered around competitive play where players try to get to the top first, sending all unprepared players backwards.

Features
Stairs Levels are comprised primarily of key doors, and include keys and solid bricks in their path. Stairs are typically arranged into side-by-side columns that each stretch to the top of the map. Each staircase is typically made out of its own color of key and door.

Gameplay
The goal of Stairs Levels is to get to the key at the very top each of the sets of stairs and move on to the next color of stairs. Once the key is touched by a player, the doors that the stairs are comprised of disappear and make any player on them fall back to the bottom. Typically, stairs have checkpoints made out of solid blocks. If a player begins to fall, he/she can reach an older checkpoint at the top of a single set of stairs to prevent from falling all the way to the beginning. Some owners move the key inside anti-gravity arrows that prevent players from triggering a key multiple times and preventing anyone from progressing on the stairs. If there are many players, Stairs can also be considered a Race Level, as you have to get to the key first to prevent yourself from falling.
Bots are programs that connect to Everybody Edits in order to automate tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.
Many user-created bots allow other users to have admin control in a world they do not own by using symbols to indicate that it is a command such as '!' or '.'. Many bots also have an option to turn on a 'snake' effect where if you drag a line the line will slowly start to disappear.

Bot Assisted Levels
There are many bot assisted levels (often abbreviated as 'BAL's) that introduce original concepts to EE. Many of them include users to interact with blocks without having edit, and can even produce the effect of falling blocks.
If a user's energy supply is not full, it replenishes at a rate of 1 every 150 seconds (2.5 min.). Users get 24 energy every hour, so after 8 hours 20 minutes, users will have full energy assuming a 200 energy maximum.

Anch159:

History
The red ninja was a smiley that appeared in "MrShoe"s profile in 2012. You were able to get it from the energy shop for 1000 energy or 20 gems. It's description was "a worthy opponent of the black ninja". Later it disappeared from the shop. However, the smiley got re-added in 14 March 2015 as a secret smiley due it being one of the unused smileys, except that in the first hours the secret messed up due an error in code. It was removed from everyone hours after and the method to obtain it changed.

Original method
Note: This method doesn't work anymore.

You had to select the ninja smiley while you're already wearing it. This would instantly turn you into the Red Ninja, and it would add it to your smiley count to be selected at any time you wanted it too (Simply selecting black ninja twice)

The error
Note: This method doesn't work anymore.

However, the original method had an error and therefore everyone found it out, the error consisted in simply that by wearing ninja smiley and going to your own world, you obtained the red ninja, making all the fanbase notice it's existence.

Actual method
The error was patched, the method changed and the smiley removed from everyone. However, it is still possible to obtain, in this wiki page we won't say the method to get it because as stated before, it is supposed to be secret, if you want to try unlocking it, you can think about a hint NVD gave:

Yo!Scroll is a vertical side-scrolling game where you try to stay on the board until the other players fall off. Its design is based on the look of a heart rate monitor. We have been developing this bot in secret since the end of 2011, and we aren't planning to release it for the public.

Yo!Scroll Infinite
The original version of Yo!Scroll is a vertical side-scrolling game where you try to stay on the moving platform and complete challenges to win. This new version is unique because it uses invisible portals to make the scroll loop infinite, thus the name of the bot.

Everybody Edits on Android
Thanel is the only one who develops the Android application of Everybody Edits. He will not have a lot of free time to work on it for around 2015 April 15 (as Thanel said around one and a half month in 2015 March 31) which means that until then the development will go very slowly (although he is currently doing some solid changes in the core to speed up later development).

What is Everybody Edits?
Everybody Edits is a real-time, multi-player, two-dimensional, platform game where players interact and create worlds for others to enjoy. There is no real goal in the game, it acts more as a sandbox where users create experiences for each other.

History
Platform Sandbox
Everybody Edits began as a simple test grounds for Chris, called Platform Sandbox. Also referred to as EE 0.1 now, it had minimal features, only having the minimap, 6 original smileys ( ), and the following blocks: Gravity, Basic, Brick (excluding the tan & dark red), '_' faced block, Metal, and the leaked, old black brick. It gained popularity and continued to grow.

Everybody Edits 0.5+
Chris made EE 0.5, the first real version of EE. This consisted of a lobby, with only open worlds in it. There were no blocks or smileys added, though. When it was added, people would gather in one room (most of the time, the top corner one), and major trolling would occur. At the peak of its time, at least 1 person would be in every room. This changed when EE 0.6 came out.

Everybody Edits 0.6+
EE 0.6 included naming rooms, and locking them with a code. Moving with WASD was added, direct linking with www.everybodyedits.com was added, and new blocks were added. When naming & locking levels came out, crews began to form. The caution block was the first addition to the blocks. When the next set of blocks were added, Chris also added an up and down arrow to scroll through the blocks. Many complaints about not being able to use the old black block anymore made Chris add a new black block with a little shine on it . Many of these block updates merge into EE 0.7.

Everybody Edits 0.7+
As EE 0.7 rolled in, many blocks and smileys were added. Keys, Locks, and Gates were the first functional additions to the game. This spawned the first series of "Trap Rooms", later renamed to bosses or key bosses. A few other additions to the blocks were Crowns, Grass, the tan and dark red Bricks, and Coins. Gold coins were added first, then blue for a short time. Chris took the blue coins off instantly and asked to reach a donation of $500 USD before he re-added them. Major trolling, as of flying (There was no God Mode then) and and jumping really high were done by trolls/hackers. This was fixed by an anti-hack. Also, the first non-free thing that was added to EE, the Smiley Package, consisted of the 6 Beta smileys, and it cost $5 USD for them. People were getting mad that they had to pay so much, so Chris let players choose the price for a short time (Whoever had the Smiley Package got Beta for free later on).

Everybody Edits 0.8+
During this time, Chris was mostly doing bug fixes, but also made the new interface (dragging blocks into the menu), user accounts (first used only Facebook, then made EE only accounts), and most importantly, made Beta. After the new block interface was added for Free & Beta, Chris focused on Beta more. Beta first cost $10 USD (Beta use + Smiley Package), and people were mad that whoever payed a penny to get the Smiley Package, got to play Beta for free. Chris later lowered the price down a nickel ($9.95 USD). the very first additions to beta were fullscreen and mute (The only use mute has is to turn off the coin sounds). Saved worlds was one of the last additions of EE 0.8. Chris mainly uses Beta at first to test new features before Free users. It was almost a month before the Free EE got updated again (To EE 9.0).

Everybody Edits 0.9+
EE 0.9 is the most recent time for EE (0.9.2.1), and many new features, including chat, the shop, and profiles. Many additions to the shop were different sized worlds, smileys, and blocks/items.
