Over 9000

In the game's files, it was found that there was a hidden sound called "Over9000", when playing it, it would play an audio clip of the famous meme, "It's over nine thousand!"

For a time, players didn't know if it was possible to play it in EE. Eventually, someone discovered that it could be played by dying 9000 times.

Rick roll

The Everybody Edits rick roll prank consisted in inviting someone to "your world", and linking them to a world with ID PWr1ckr01lEI that has a rick roll loop instead the Everybody Edits client. However, copying the ID into the "Join room by ID" button sends you to a world called "NVD Style" made by Emalton, Kirby, and CJmaeder with over 12 million plays.

It was found that in the EverybodyEdits website you could access a joke page saying the following:

Red Ninja

Main article: Red Ninja.

NVD added the removed red ninja smiley as an Easter Egg. It could only be obtained by making a red keydoor AFK. Now it can only be obtained from the Colorful Campaign.
