Gems are the premium currency of Everybody Edits, with Energy being the free currency. They can be used to buy any item in the Shop. Being a premium currency in a free game, some items can only be bought with Gems, such as Classics.

Obtaining Gems

There are several ways to obtain Gems:

Purchasing Gems
Logging in the game daily
Completing Campaigns
Winning contests

Trivia

They were first called EE Coins, but to prevent confusion with in-game coins they renamed them to gems.
